Earth Defense Force 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair is a next-generation update of Earth Defense Force 2025. EDF 4.1 utilizes four soldier class divisions; Ranger is composed by foot infantry capable of use several vehicles and mechas, Wing Diver is an airborne class composed exclusively by females that use high tech weaponry and jet packs, Air Raider is a class specialized in the assistance of infantry and airborne soldiers, capable to deploy health recovery field generators and force shields, summon vehicles into the battlefield and order air raids over designated targets, Fencer is heavy unit equipped with heavy weapons, a spear as a melee weapon and a shield. They has the ability to dual wield weapons.

1. Backup your original EDF 4.1 saved games
2. Extract "Earth Defense Force 4.1 Save Game.rar" using WinRar
2. Extract "Earth Defense Force 4.1 Save Game.rar" using WinRar
3. Copy all folders to: “Documents\My Games\EDF4.1\SAVE_DATA\<some-specific-number>\”

2000 missions needs to be completed in order to get 100% which will take pretty much you entire life for a few weeks. I suggest just uploading single class completions

btw i'm using vanilla version of the game (without update) when making this save...
Could you upload a more recent save I think thats why the save data is corrupted for some people me included.

So... just because it didn't work for most people we can't even try it? Some of them might just not know how to make their own work, why should we not get to even try? I want to play EDF with my friends on comp but I don't want to farm 500+ hours before I can play the same missions with them. I have a job and can't afford the time so if I could at least get a chance to try this it would be really helpful.

DeleteAware this is extremely old but to explain this, the steam version has profile-linked saves. You would need to be on the same steam account as the save was made on for it to work
