1. Back up your original save data, in case something wrong happen you can revert to your old data
2. Extract "Resident Evil 2 Save Game.rar" using WinRar

but if its like capcom's monster hunter world, then you could change the steam id by using steam id save editor to make the save work.
what is your steamid ?

i'm using codex version & the AccountId also set to 0 lol XD

the question is,, re2 savegame writen in .bin, in multiple files too lol, and contains of profile + data,, realy lol
Deletewhile MHW only contain 1 data in 1 file,, so simple.
so i think i stuck at those confusing save method of re2 engine,, hmmm.. gonna wait other people to solve it XD if any exists lol
i'm sure someone gonna make the save id editor soon(?) since the game is quite popular xD

by the way,.. the backsound music remnd me of my first pc game,, kinda match with the bazoka and the explosion thou :D

Hi. No problem to load saves in FitGirl repack version. The first saves, standard claire, is the beginning of game? Because i can't start a new default game, black screen. But loading a save point of game, i can play the game. Runs excellent. Thanks!!

btw the first slot is only an auto save, it's totally not important xD
and you can fix black screen by using borderless windows, not fullscreen
or by using directx 12

Hi. Just found out the solution for save data problem "This extra save data is not compatible and cannot be used" in here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/883710/discussions/0/1743358239845173874/
ReplyDeleteAs stated in that forum, the bug occurs when the origin of the save data has different region settings in windows 10 from ours.
Would you mind to share region setting & language setting of yours during creating this save data? Hopefully this issue can be solved by adjusting region & language setting same as yours.
