Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 2.5D fighting game developed by Arc System Works, known best for the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue fighting game series and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, based on the Dragon Ball franchise. The game utilises the same graphical stylings as the Guilty Gear Xrd series by using 3D models to simulate 2D art, except it runs on Unreal Engine 4 as opposed to Guilty Gear Xrd, which runs on Unreal Engine 3. The current roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ characters covers a wide range of characters from the Anime and Manga. Currently there are 21 base roster fighters, and 3 unlockable characters, with 8 DLC characters confirmed.
