Hyperdevotion Noire Goddess Black Heart sets itself apart from the previous Hyperdimension Neptunia games taking the series into the turn-based, tactical role-playing strategy realm. The Anime style characters are now Chibi during gameplay and resume their Usual Anime form when talking to each other between missions. Visiting the Lastation Basilicom also opens up Sim Noire, which is kind of a The Sims-ish subgame that allows player to customizing her room and answering to requests of the citizens with her, which will eventually unlock some extra scenes.
